Treatment Questions

Aptitude Physical Therapy have years of experience treating a wide variety of injuries and conditions. They are not limited in their practice, but most patients they see are experiencing problems with their backs, necks, joints, or feet. They may also recommend mobility assistive devices or orthotics and may perform the fittings for those items.
If your child is a patient, we will focus on making them comfortable and help them understand what they need to do to get better. If you have an appointment, please remember that as much as we love children, we don't have suitable space or supervision available for your children while you have your appointment. Most visits last at least 45 minutes and that can be a very long time for children to wait. It's best for the child and patient if childcare is arranged somewhere else during the physical therapy visit.
That is an excellent question for your physical therapist. Ask for an explanation of the treatment options and what you can expect. Your physical therapist is here to customize a treatment plan for you and will help you deal with any pain that may occur in your recovery process. Their goal is to restore your function and get rid of your pain.
Wear loose, comfortable clothing, especially if you will be in the exercise area. We do have hospital gowns available if you need them for evaluations, such as knee injuries. You can also bring clothes to change into since we have private rooms available.
